19 hours agoMONTREAL With negotiations progressing the deadline for a strike against VIA Rail Canada by the 2400 members of the Unifor union has been pushed back to 4 pm. As negotiations continue in Montreal members of Unifor Canadas largest union on the private sector and representing VIA Rails on-board service personnel chefs sales agents and customer staff issued a strike mandate ahead of the July 11 strike deadline.
